Alistair Burt Foreign Office Minister, London An active dialogue with Sri Lanka I’ve just spent a very interesting couple of days in Sri Lanka, mainly to solidify the UK’s active dialogue with Sri Lanka and to see what progress has been made since the end of the civil war. The UK is a big contributor to multilateral aid, resettlement and reconciliation efforts and I had a chance to see the difference some of this work is making in Jaffna. I also managed to speak to some of the people the British Council is working with in Colombo; you can see the video below.
