Army conducts briefings to travelers arriving Jaffna The Psychological Operations Branch and Civil Affairs Office of the Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SF-J) commenced a program to educate people travel Jaffna for the convenience of travelers themselves and to preserve the cultural values and identities of the peninsula. Under this program, soldiers attached to the Task Force 7 distribute handbills among the travelers free of charge at the EPS, the gateway to Jaffna. In addition, a brief awareness lecture will also be given if requested, an official of SF-J said speaking to defence.lk. Handbill distributing among the travelers includes the crowds on cultural practices of the local community, behavioral guidance for visitors during stay in Jaffna and a map of access routes to locations of tourist and religious interest.
