Hundreds of soldiers serving under Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SF-J) received blessing of God Shiva attending a special pooja organized on the 9th day of annual Maha Shiva Rathri religious ceremony of historical Naguleshwaram temple at Keeramalai on Friday (25.02.2011). Religious ceremonies commenced on February 17 and will last for 14 days. Prime Minister DM Jayratne said in Parliament yesterday that four hardcore LTTE cadres arrested in Vavuniya recently have confessed that 60 soldiers who were held in LTTE custody were executed by them during the last days of the humanitarian operation. The Prime Minister speaking at the committee stage debate said that the soldiers had been shot dead and their bodies burnt by the terrorists.
